One of the most common questions men with Peyronie’s disease ask is, “What does Peyronie’s plaque feel like?” Despite being a common condition, it can be difficult to describe what this localized area of hard tissue can feel like, and it can vary greatly from person to person.
This article provides an overview of what Peyronie’s plaque can feel like and offers advice for men dealing with the condition.
What does Peyronie’s Plaque feel like?
Peyronie’s plaque is an abnormal buildup of collagen in the penis, which can lead to a curvature of the penis during erection. The plaque itself is usually painless and cannot be felt.
However, it can lead to pain in the penis during erection. This pain may be sharp or burning, making it difficult to maintain an erection. Other symptoms, such as tenderness or swelling in the plaque area, may accompany the pain.
In severe cases, it may also cause erectile dysfunction. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it’s important to see a doctor so they can diagnose and treat the condition.
My personal experience & how i felt when i had Peyronie’s disease?
When I was diagnosed with Peyronie’s disease, I felt a lot of different emotions. I was scared, as I knew little about the condition and how it would affect my life. I was also embarrassed, afraid of what people would think if they found out.
I felt frustrated because there was no way for me to know how long it would last or if there was anything I could do to make it go away. But after a while, I realized that I would get through it no matter what happened.
I started focusing on taking care of myself and learning as much as possible about the condition. It was not easy, but eventually, I made peace with it and accepted it as part of my life.
